This website’s waitlist

• Data: phone number or email and, if you provide them, first name and city; page language and sign-up page.
• Use: telling you when the app launches in your city. Nothing else, and never sold.
• You can ask to be removed from the list at any time using the details on the Contact page.
• This website uses no advertising cookies or trackers.

Data processed by the apps

• Account: phone number, name, profile photo, language.
• Trips: pickup and drop-off addresses, landmarks, times, prices, route tracked during the trip, ratings and comments.
• Location: the rider’s for pickup; the driver’s while online, including with the app closed, to receive trips.
• Payments: payment methods used, Mobile Money number and transaction references.
• Drivers: ID documents, licence, vehicle documents, verification selfies compared with the approved photo.
• Safety: trusted contacts, SOS alerts, answers to “Are you OK?” checks, audio recordings when started.
• Communications: messages between rider and driver, customer service requests.

Why

• Providing the service: finding a driver, calculating the price, tracking the trip, collecting and paying out.
• Rider and driver safety: checks, alerts, handling incidents.
• Accounting and legal obligations.
• Improving the service, using statistics.

How long

• Messages between rider and driver: deleted after [period to be confirmed].
• Audio recordings: encrypted, deleted after [period to be confirmed] without an incident, after [period to be confirmed] with one.
• Verification selfies: deleted after [period to be confirmed].
• When an account is deleted: data identifying you is erased or anonymised; accounting and safety records are kept anonymously; a driver’s documents are kept for [period to be confirmed] for incident investigations, then erased.

Who we share with

• The driver sees your name, pickup, landmark and destination, never your number.
• Your trusted contacts receive a trip tracking link.
• Technical providers: hosting, SMS, notifications, Mobile Money payments, face comparison [list and hosting countries to be completed].
• Authorities, on lawful request.

Your rights

You can get a copy of your data (export in the app), have it corrected, and request deletion of your account in the app. For any other request: [contact to be completed].
